The restoration and expansion of the Idaho State Capitol included construction of two underground wings that provide a combined 100,000 square feet of office and hearing room space.
The Idaho Capitol Commission used iBEAM Time-Lapse Pro high definition construction cameras to document the project and to provide information to the citizens of Idaho. Because the Capitol was closed during renovations, the Commission posted current views of the project and time-lapse movies on their public information web site. Time-lapse movies are also made available to local television stations and are used in meetings.
The project was completed in time for the 2010 legislative session, and the complete project Image Archive became part of the State’s historical records.
