Adherence to Schedule
The underfloor plenum, hydronic piping, and ductwork needed to be inspected and approved by the LEED Commissioning Agent before the carpet in the main lobby could be installed and the major ground floor tenant moved-in. Due to a scheduling snafu, the out-of-state agent couldn't make the site visit until the following week. Using an iBEAM Handheld camera, the local HVAC contractor showed the agent the entire plenum and together they identify two mis-installed valves and an unconnected duct run. The repairs were made and the agent signed off on the work, saving a week delay.

The client wanted to hand pick the hardwood for a custom floor. The project was in Colorado, the client in California, and the hardwood in Oregon. The client flew the project superintendent and an iBEAM traveler to the mill. Custom windows fabricated in Europe were sent to the job site. From their respective offices, both manufacturer and out-of-state distributor watched as the windows arrived and visually inspected the shipment for damage.  As they watched the local installer set the first window, the production engineer, sitting at his desk in Europe, noticed the sill flashing had been improperly positioned. The installer was directed to correct the issue and the windows were installed without incident.
