How to Create and View Time-Lapse Video
Creating time-lapse videos is a great way to keep construction teams up-to-date regarding a project, as well as to keep stakeholders and other invested parties in the know regarding their investment.
Your iBEAM Construction Camera allows for the creation of on-demand, 4K Ultra HD time-lapse videos, so you can showcase exactly what you want, when you want, to whom you want.
Let's dive in and discover how you can create on-demand time-lapse videos of your projects from your iBEAM Construction Camera web page! (These instructions assume that you are already logged in to your camera web page. Contact the iBEAM Support team if you need help logging in.)
There are three ways to view a time-lapse video from the iBEAM Timelapse menu:
1. Instant View
To instantly view a video with all of the project's daytime photos click the Load button and wait for the video to load in the video player. Once the video has finished loading, click the play button* (►) to begin watching.
*Viewing on a laptop?
If your screen does not display the play button (►) underneath the video player, try adjusting the view of your Internet browser. You may need to zoom out the browser's view to 75%-90%. Adjusting the percentage of zoom is commonly found in the Settings menu of your Internet browser.

2. Create a Custom Video
To create and view a video with your desired dates and times, follow the steps below:
- Select start and end dates
- Select daily start and stop times or select Include all times to use all available photos
- Uncheck the box to exclude weekend days
- Select the playback speed
- Select Load and wait for the video to load in the video player
- Once the video has finished loading, click the play button (►) to begin playback

3. Download a Video
To make a time-lapse video downloadable, follow the steps from #2 above and click Load. After the video has loaded in the video player, click the Make Downloadable button and select/deselect your preferred parameters:
- Uncheck the Timestamps box to remove timestamps from the downloaded video
- Select the video size
- Click the Submit Job button
Note: Large (4K) videos can take a long time to render.

When your video has rendered, it will appear in the Downloadable Timelapse Videos list.
- Select the Refresh icon
to update the list - Select Info for details about this video
- Select Download to save the video to your computer
